I’m an author and travel writer living in glorious South Devon and I spend my free time swimming from the beaches of Torbay and on the wilds of Dartmoor. I also loves to travel and am always looking for interesting, quirky and stunning places to swim across the planet; which is what this blog is about.

I have written several swimming guide books with my fellow author, Sophie Pierce, including Wild Swimming Walks: Dartmoor and South Devon, Wild Swimming Walks: Cornwall, Wild Swimming Walks: Dorset and East Devon, Wild Swimming Walks: North Devon and Exmoor and Wild Swimming Torbay. We take part in a number of events, so do get in contact if you would be interested in one of our talks. 

I am also an event manager and the Creative Director of the Agatha Christie Festival, which takes place in Torquay every September. Agatha was a keen open water swimmer throughout her life and we organise an annual one mile charity swim every year, which is hugely popular.
